Well I have had a very peaceful 3 days while you have been on your field trips. I hope you enjoyed the trips (and you had more than one bathroom – grade 3 students!?)
This week’s expression is – to go out of your way
If you go out of your way, you take particular care or make a special effort when doing something for someone.
For example: The teachers at Dong Pyeong school went out of their way to make me feel welcome when I arrived in Korea. (they made a special effort and did many nice things for me so I felt comfortable).
When was the last time someone went out of their way for you OR you went out of your way to do something for someone?

On Sunday 6th May Gwangan bridge was open for people to walk accross for the morning. So, myself and Matt went to do the 17.5 km walk. The weather was perfect and we had great views of the city. In the middle of the bridge there was a punk band playing, when everyone started jumping to the music the bridge starting moving which was a bit scary! Here’s some pics from the walk…

Last month I went to Kyoto. I had a brilliant time, the city is really, really beautiful and all the cherry blossom was in bloom so it looked even more beautiful! I saw many temples and shrines, a castle and spent a lot of time just wandering around enjoying the sights. Here’s some pictures from my trip.
